Coral watched her 'country coz' leave the arena with a haughty look on her face. As Pippi passed, Coral shot her a smug little smirk, but Pippi just laughed & kissed Sparkler smack on the nose. Coral rolled her eyes, & nudged her horse forward, but in truth, the girls were really rather good friends. Although their tastes were very different. Coral liked Sparkler, but she just wasn't as pretty as Diamante, the appaloosa Coral was riding. So what if he was prone to regular bunny-hopping? Who cared if his stable manners were quite bad, & he was really quite naughty? Coral LOVED his gait, the floaty way he moved & his pretty spotty bum! 
Fortunately, he was only a rookie in naughty ways, meaning Coral was able to manage him from the ground, and she was a good enough little rider to bring out the good that he did have in him, when he decided to concentrate!
Their performance went smoothly to the end, & Coral walked him out to a light, gentle applause. Then Diamante decided to kill the track. As Colette walked Wish past the spotty pony, Diamante snaked out his head, aiming for Wish's bottom...and got a sharp smack on the muzzle from the quick-witted Colette, who scolded him sharply, & grimaced at Coral.
"Watch this young colt, Cor, or he'll be walking all over you before his balls come through!" Colette chuckled. Coral blushed, & pulled him up, then turned back to apologise but Colette had already the arena for her round. Cursing silently, Coral jumped down, intending to hurry Diamante to the stables so she could watch Colette...but she was stopped by Kaitee, Fms' manager. Kaitee smiled at Coral & held her hand out.
"I'll untack Diamante; you go & watch Colette if you want," Kaitee smiled. "I'm sure Pippi will find you in there in a minute." Still blushing lightly, Coral thanked her manager, then hurried off to get a good seat...and save one for her cousin, who sat beside her only a few minutes later, to watch Colette & Wish in action...
